Hello I have a Sacagawea gold dollar from the Littleton coin co. I don't know what's up with this coin is this considered an error? if you look at the pictures there's a part where the coin is just silver there's no gold so is that an error is this a fake coin please somebody help

To CCF! It's could just be toning. Toning can happen to any coin exposed to any environment factors.

@jos, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree with @e&v that surface discoloration or toning (such as on your coin) is not a mint error. Also, just to be super-clear, while the color of these coins is golden, the metal alloy is not gold.

Also, I'd like to revise the title of this thread to include the date and denomination as this information helps with the search functionality. Can you please tell us when this Sac was minted? Thx.

An error can only occur during the striking of the coin.
Seeing this cannot change the colour, it has to have
happened, no matter how, at another time negating
the chance of it being an error.

Oils on the fingertips can cause the toning that you're seeing, which is why many of us hold coins by the edge or with clean cotton gloves.
