2024-Shield-Penny-DDO-&-Struck-Thru-Grease-?

Hello Everyone!

I don't want to get too excited, yet.
What do ya'll think? Not sure that it looks quite like the one listed on V.V.
Did I find a DDO or just a MD?
What about the grease?

Also: Is it normal to NOT be able to see these D.D's without a microscope? I couldn't even see it with my loop.

Thanks!!

I'm seeing Die Deterioration Doubling with possibly Machine Doubling as well. It's not a DDO unfortunately. The letter IN could be a slight Greaser.

Indeed - that's what Die Deterioration looks like on copper coated zinc cents.

Thank You everyone.
Had a feeling that might be the case.
On the bright side - I have a whole roll of examples - perhaps even a box full
