I will bid $20 on group 2 and partner with Snowman (Can I be the "Bandit"?) if he wants.

C'mon back now!

P.S. I re-read the rules and now officially say: " I match Snowman" and bid $20 on lot 2.

meckl9 - You really haven't really officially bid $21.00 - yet. You simply said you were game - and you said THAT to wheezydog. Are you willing to bid $21.00 on Lot 2 in order to match Coinhunter53562...?

weerdsteev I actually had bid $21 a day or so ago but then was told I didn't need to.

Is that ok for my bid or do I need to say the magic words....abra cadabra....oh I mean...

meckl9 - Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? Let me check the rule book.... A-ha! Just as I thought! Page 9, subsection 3, paragraph 8 states: "No fair making fun of the contest's founder."

Seriously...it just helps to keep things straight. You didn't need to bid $21.00 the FIRST TIME because you were already in first place at the time. It was like bidding yourself up. Once there was a match at the $20.00 level and your earlier bid was beaten, it made sense to move it up a notch to $21.00..and until you said, officially, that you matched Coinhunter, anyone else could have come along and matched him...and stolen him away from you.

Thanks for playing...and feel free to abuse me all you want (as long as you're bidding)!

Update!

Meckl9 and Coinhunter53562 are in the lead at $21.00 each.

Meckl9 is openly abusing the contest's founder, but money talks and I'm letting him get away with it...

There are no unmatched bids in excess of $21.00, although Snowman is trying to strongarm Moe145....
