I hope 2 photos are enough to identify my coin's surface. I pulled it out of a 1967 SMS coin set and just noticed the really shiny surface, thinking it was just a regular SP coin. Any ID would help. Thanks.

You need to rename your images when you upload them so that they are unique! That edge image overwrote the obverse image in your first post.

Yes, eager to see that obverse. Filtered (reduced) lighting might yield better pics.

and can you please re-post up an image of the obverse?
(Please do not reuse the same file name for each picture you post up in the same day (it gets over-written)

Why would the weight matter anyway? Or for that matter, the edge of the coin? Isn't an SMS coin the same?

If the coin was replated it would be heavier and would show the best on the edge.

Quote: I hope this helps No, it did not. Now you overwrote the edge image. You need to give all your images unique names.

Well to answer the OP's question - it could be a CAM to me not a DCAM. However the surfaces do look a bit different..

For what it is worth, to me it looks plated and selectively polished.
