Hi CCF! New Member and Short Term Lurker.. Forever Knowledge Seeker! Anyway I found this 1935-D Wheatie, please take it easy on me as I am u sure if that is a blasphemous statement, with what looks to me as PIDT due to Die Deterioration seen on E PLURIBUS UNUM? Ghosting is show. On the third upside down photo. I am new to collecting and from what I read I have to pick a lane and focus soooooo, Lincoln Cents it is! Please let me know what you all think and I hope I did everything as a first time poster! I promise I used the search engine a lot! Thanks and I look forward to meeting and greeting and posting and yea, I'll share my story as we go as I am not one for about me types of posts.

Neat find - I see a lot of "Ghosting" on the 1922 Lincolns.

Thanks for the quick replies and hopefully I will get quick with linking sources as E & V did so quickly! Also I thought you hyperlinked Die Deterioration in your reply ERR but notice it is linked in my original and I know I didn't do that, I'm guessing the forum somehow does it? Or because it was linked by E & V? Anyway hopefully I can learn this stuff as quickly as I picked up what happened to this wheatie thanks to all the great info on this forum, and thanks a lot Marve I will keep posting my finds as I go!

Thanks everyone for the greetings to CCF and verification of finds! Looks like I'm already starting to see the joy of the hunt! It's not about money, well TECHNICALLY sure, and/or making a buck but finding cool looking Coins! I'm going to be building an album of Lincoln Cents, I picked up some nice Dansco Albums and will share my journey roll hunting and collecting Lincoln's that I FIND ENJOYABLE, regardless of anyone else's perceived value and will make sure I create a Topic for that when I get there. Again, thanks for the warm welcome and I look forward to sharing my adventures with the CCF!

Quote: Can anyone tell me how to insert coins without damaging album? Pll the plastic insert out. Put the coin over the hole the best you can. I put the plastic insert over the coin so not to get finger prints on the coin then just push down in the center of the coin with your thumb and it should "snap" into place. Leave the back plastic insert in the album so the coin doesn't get pushed right through the hole and falls back out . If it goes to deep then just push it back up a little on the opposite side.

Thanks a lot Marve65! What I ended up doing was making sure Album insert was against Album cover. I then started from the innermost Coin receptacle and used my thumbs to SLIDE the front viewing frame outward. These new Albums are definitely tight and takes a little bit of finesse but with enough patience, the frame will be reachable. Insert Coin and slide frame back into place! These Dansco Albums are definitely nice and from what I read on their website, they are USA-made as well! I am so glad I chose these over the 40-dollar foldable Amazon specials! Thanks everyone and let the Saturday Hunt begin!
