Hello. I'm new to coin collecting and just starting to learn some of the key things to look for in various coins and so forth. I figured a forum would be a big help for some coins I came across recently. Also, to find out if it would be worth getting them graded.
The first ones I'm interested in getting input about are 3 unusual looking Lincoln Pennies. They have a gritty feel to them and none of them have full dates on them. 2 of them have 198 for dates and partial mint mark(D I think)the third has a very faint 19 for the date and no mint mark. Greatly appreciate everyone's helpful knowledge.

to the CCF, SwtNCosmic. I believe that what you have are Dryer Coins.

to the Community!

It looks like a Dryer Coin, and that is probably most likely, but the weird rim also makes is look encased in a bezel.

@swt, first welcome to CCF. Second, if you can supply weights for these three coins, we should be able to tell you if they are Dryer Coins or encased in bezels. Thx.

To CCF! They all look like Dryer Coins. They aren't errors, just PMD. Not worth slabbing, as they're just worth face value.
Errers and Varietys.

Not in any way shape or form is that an error.
No way that could happen when the coin was struck.

Thank you for the welcomes and the input.

As for the weight of the coins approximately 2.5 grams each.
