Hi guys, wandering if this 2008 ¼ Dollar Alaska state series is missing its clad layer?

I have never come across a us quarter like this one.

@fir, since the weight is correct for this series, I am more inclined to believe that the dark coloration comes from environmental or chemical exposure rather than a missing clad layer. It looks to me like this coin was buried in the ground for a while.

The weight is normal. If it was missing clad, it would be lighter in weight. Just environmental damage from PMD.
