ach it seems like just a round... aka minted by a private refinery. Let's see if anyone recognizes this.

Not a coin, just a privately made bullion round. The center design is reminiscent of a Walking Liberty half dollar. Current value would be around $16 based on the spot price of 1 troy ounce of silver but it might be worth a couple bucks more to a collector due to the WLH design. Unless it has specific assayer marks, it could be hard to track down who exactly made it. What does the other side look like and is there anything on the edge?

The coin is 39mm
A tad larger that a Morgan

Can these private mints use these images
on the bullion rounds leagally?

BTW....this is so cool to be on this forum
and be able to talk to people about coins!

Thanks

Yes they can and with this one clearly marked copy on the obverse, there are no issues of concern.

That is a nice silver round!

Even though these people producing these rounds cause confusion to the unknowledgeable and some newer collectors...These are not meant to deceive. These are even marked copy.
