I recently purchased this coin. I can not believe a coin that is over 140 years old could look like it was just minted. I hope my pictures do justice to the color, luster and strike details. Do you think this is worth grading and, if so, what grade would you estimate this would receive?

Wow, beautiful coin! Shame about the obverse surface marks, but I would still think this is Unc. I've not seen enough of these in that conditions to give an exact number, but I would think 60+.
Do not read this sentence.

You should take it out of the 2x2 to get accurate images - and an good opinion.

Based on the first two images, I'd say UNC Details - Recolored. The rest of the images are all over the board with color. Which set of images represent how it looks in hand?

They made 45 million of these. IMO, It would need to pull at least 63RD for it to be worthwhile. Unless you're planning to sell it immediately, I wouldn't bother. Do get an Airtight or something to protect it and make sure it is stored properly to ensure it retains its color.
