jfeed Pillar of the Community United States 1259 Posts	Posted 07/08/2025 2:53 pm I saw a recent posting on a 1943 D quarter here on CCF and decided to pull out my old dusty Dansco album just to see if it might have something exciting in it. I feel that this one is Variety Vista DDO-007. It has taken a few nasty hits, but still a nice DDO in my opinion. Sorry for all the photos. Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4395 Posts	Posted 07/08/2025 7:21 pm Any photos of the RTY in LIBERTY? That's the area where the doubling seems to be strongest on DDO-007. I do see the light doubling on the L, but it is important to make sure all of the doubling does match. The die cracks in these areas are fairly common on 1940's quarters, I wouldn't rely too heavily on them to confirm a match. Report this Post to the Staff

Going back and looking at the "L" in Liberty it sure does look like the marker and the top of "B" in Liberty looks like a light spread but I can't really call it on the "T" and "Y". I consider you the expert and will humbly accept your opinion. By the way, I don't have a stash..just a Dansco that I completed nearly 30 years ago. The VV photos for Stage B show some very slight Class II doubling on LIBERTY which is overshadowed by the doubling on the ear, hair, and face, and is left unnoticed. Report this Post to the Staff
