I just thought I would share this as it looks really odd. A couple of die chips is my guess. They are both raised.

This would be a very odd spot for die chips . Maybe die dent.

Gave it an acetone bath but it did not come off. As they appear to be very similar I like the idea of die dents probably caused by the same thing.

I had something similar on a reverse of a nickel several years ago. Several people suggested it was solder. Then I come across an identical match (same date and mintmark). When I showed the pair, somebody said it was a "bleb" (die erosion pit).

could be Reed Marks.

I see 3 marks at regular intervals (the 3rd one is weaker), the non the rim, I see another one that appears incuse and it is in a straight line with the first 3.
