Yeah, a 105 year old coin. I thought I was imagining thing when I saw the S under the zero. San Frisco/Denver mint are rare mints considering there was only 46 million made. I I am thinking that those are light strikes and that the 'S' mint under the zero may be polished mistake for the mm.

I found this on the internet, but I'm not sure how real it is. Take a look at the location of the "S" mint mark...

Quote: Is there a 'S' mint mark below the Zero or on the side? No. I'm thinking that is heavy circulation wear plus Pareidolia.

That coin you found on the internet is . I found that coin in a coin roll. The 'S' mark is in the same spot. Do you think it could be my imagination that there may be a 'S' on the zero side?

Well it is a very worn 1920 S Cent that may or may not be a "woody". The "S" you speak of under the "0" is probably just a small mark or stain that resembles the shape of an "S".

Worn out, but still fun to find. Keep for fun or until you find a better one.
