Hello, fellow treasure hunters!

I have set of pre-1900 US coins that I acquired at an in-person auction in PA & I would like yalls opinions... Grade, Value, Any Errors, or even just fun facts!

I believe I'm only allowed to post one coin at a time & one post per day in the same forum, so I'll spread these out over the next couple weeks!

This first one is a 1935 Early Dime 10c.

What do y'all think?

Thank you in advance for any information, grade, etc. Y'all are awesome!

I'm at F details -cleaned on the obverse (notice the hairlines in the fields crossing onto the devices) And I'm at VG for the reverse. Nice coin for a type set. but I'm partial to anything Capped Bust series.

I agree, Fine Details. You can see the hairlines from the cleaning.

just to be clear. you can post as many new posts in a forum as you want. we suggest only 1 coin per post.

with the others that coin was cleaned. someone rubbed it with something that was abrasive enough to leave hairlines mostly noticeable on the obv.

F details (cleaned)

taking a second look at this one. the stars on this do not look correct, they are too close the rim. the tops of LIBERTY are too close the edge of headband. the denomination is not correct. pretty sure this coin is fake.

Looks like a real JR1 to me. Agree with F details.

I agree the stars on the obverse are closer to the rim then normal for that date. VG yo F details.

Jimbo, the link you provided is not JR-1 . See the link below for a look at JR-1, and you will see the stars closer to the rim like the OP. In addition to that, JR-1 has a broken arrow shaft on the topmost arrow next to the eagles talon just like the OPs coin.

Agree it's a genuine JR-1. I'd say F details, cleaned.
