Hi coleen: also. The 1970S is a large date. The 2003D-(IMHO)it looks like a possible gas bubble Did you gently try to see if it moves/breaks etc with the end of a toothpick? If it remains solid, then I would say it would be a new 2003D DDR as Chuck only has 2 listed right now for that year and M/M. and where this is located down Lincoln's chest is not listed.

The 1970-s looks to be a large date, the 2003 could be a gas bubble, press on it to make sure, if it doesn't easily dent then it is probably a DDR. John1

Large Date. This will help to identify them. Note the direction of the tail of the 9 and the difference on the placement of the date. Small date should fit into the square outlined. The 2003-D? It maybe a minor bar on the left side of the statue. But I save them for a specialist and he adds them to his files.

2003D ? 6th pillar/ to the east if so I think I see doubled die from about the forearm down to the ? pedestal ? if so i'd say you found a DDR.

CO: The reason I mentioned "Maybe" is that sometimes the polishing of the dies wears off that area and creates what looks like a bar. When they are small like your coin the and not even they maybe just a cleaning/polishing issue instead of a doubled die. Thus I also used the term minor. Sometimes they are too narrow or to short to list. coppercoins.com/ only lists the stronger ones. I still save the minor ones anyway unless they are as common as sand on the sea. Always someone want to trade them if you have extras, especially the stronger ones.
