Spotted this listing on ebay. I haven't even begun to learn about Half Dimes, but this seems like a good, strong clash on an 1857 Half Dime.

That's one strong Die Clash on both sides!

I wondered if there were some sort of die or variety listings for Half Dimes, but the only site I found was for ten cent Seated Liberty dimes.

It wouldn't be listed as such. A die clash is damage done to the dies when no planchet was present. There may be hundreds of die clashed Half Dimes produced as the press thumped along before someone noticed, or someone who noticed cared.
The $200 asking price is a bit high, imo. Perhaps if they added 'die clash' to the listing they'd garner more interest, but the value of such an oddity isn't substantial.
It's cool, and you have a good eye.

Pretty strong clashing. It would be nice example, but unfortunately it looks like a details coin from the hairlines in the right obverse field. Not die polishing since they cross the arm.
