I found another 1940 D nickel that in my opinion, looks like it has full steps. There are a few stains on the obverse, but still a good looking example. Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6464 Posts	Posted 08/20/2025 1:02 pm Outstanding steps! Obviously that Reverse of 1940 is still super sharp. I would go so far as to predict that ANACS and NGC would grade this 6FS. That's assuming that the rest of the coin graded MS and not AU.
