Found this yesterday.
My question: Is there a way to remove that white hazy stuff, or is it part of zinc rot and no way to get rid of it? {I did soak it in acetone, and maybe it's a little better than it was beforehand)

Thanks!

The white stuff could possibly be corrosion. Maybe using Verdi-Care might help? Nice DDR by the way.

A layer of crud/film deposited when in a liquid state, then evaporated. Coin may have spent a little time in a poorly maintained fountain. Not zinc rot.

Oh - Thank You!
I see so many with the "white stuff" that I started assuming it had something to do with the zinc.
