Could The San Francisco Mint Be Closing?

seamonkey5150 Pillar of the Community United States 875 Posts	Posted 08/29/2025 10:24 am I'm not trying to start any rumors but I find it odd there are several US Mint Subscriptions ending this year that are out of the San Francisco Mint. I wonder if the Morgan and Peace dollar Proof coins out of San Francisco will show that same info after they are released in September Also wonder if it will affect the S-Mint Quarters for next year. They could just be removing items that don't sell well so they don't have to keep them in stock for years and years. I just hope they don't start getting privy crazy with all the coins. If the cost to produce the same coins is less at other mints, they may be able to make more profit by closing the San Francisco mint. Report this Post to the Staff
