Is this class 2 doubling on the reverse showing with the deeper hubbing being towards edge? Possible doubling shows on the bottom side of the top bars of the letters T,T,E in STATES. And also shows on the top side of the bottom bars of the letters E,E in ONE CENT.
Machine doubling, in my opinion. Though it's a more unusual form of Machine Doubling. Instead of the die or planchet shifting, this is caused by the compression and expansion of the planchet when it was struck.
Decaf94drew, this kind of Machine Doubling has fooled me before. I thought my coin was a DDO until I emailed Tanner with pictures. That was quite a few years back though.
