hello everyone.Your opinion.weight 2.57g,diameter18,77,thickness 1,52mm.Do youthink this could be a weak strike,die adjust strike.On the edge there seems to be a kind of double rim.

Appears to be a type 2 blank planchet.

Unstruck planchet (type 2), was used as filler in mint sets in years when they had five coins and six compartments (before they started using the mint tokens). Also given out as souvenirs on tours. And can be purchased in the gift shops.

Sometimes they even escape being struck and are found in circulation.

Worth a few cents.

This type 2 planchet is the weight of a copper plated zinc cent.......

I do recall they (US Mint) did include a "blank" in a recent kids set ( maybe less than 10 years ago.)
