A new coin for me and the first from this ruler.

Richard II coins from York seem to have the central quatrefoil, while his coins from London do not. I liked this coin because of the condition of the surfaces which are quite bright and not affected by being buried in problematic soil for a few centuries..

That is a great acquisition @bacc. Do you think that someone shaved the edge a bit to harvest some silver? I see that the arm of the long cross at nine o'clock is off the flan. Or do you think that the flan was undersized compared to the die?

It looks like the flan may have been a fraction under sized (diameter wise) and the strike was a little off centre on the obverse. I think that accounts for it, but good thinking about the clipping which seems to have been an issue from the time.
