@ode, can you please clarify whether you are looking for opinions as to the grade or whether this might be a doubled die? I think that you are looking for the grade based on the title and your initial post, but your most recent post in response to @rwc seems to pivot. I'm happy to move this thread if needed, but will keep it here in the grading section for now.
Regardless, please don't post the same coin in two different threads. Thx!

as far as grade the coin has environmental damage scratches on Obverse some may call this a slider UNC but not more than MS 63 at best due to damage may score a AU55 ish if sent to CAC or MS 62 sent to PCGS. the DDO is desirable though I would send in there is many opinions on who to send to ANACS, NGC, PCGS, CAC, ICG. ANACS is 20.00 and fast turnaround stricter than PCGS, CAC is 20.00 but the lowest score due to 10X power used when grading not 7X like all others PCGS will cost at least 47.50 and NGC I think 20.00 but I never sent anything into them. you can go to the PCGS website and thyere are videos on grading coins hope this helps.

I agree with Errers on the Die Deterioration Doubling, but that's a nice die crack in his hair! I'm no expert, but definitely UNC / MS, nice coin.

I always wondered: Can a Mint State coin have a finger print on it?

Good question, Marve65. They can, if they have been mishandled. That's why you should hold them only by the edge or wear gloves when handling coins. Wearing gloves is the better option in my opinion. If you're handling uncirculated coins, handle them with care.
