scootercar New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 09/18/2025 04:03 am Hello Community, I'm Scootercar and this is my first ever post. I'm retired and live in Washington state. I very much enjoy coin collecting and now want to try some selling. I collect mostly pennies and quarters and my first coin I need help with is a 1973 D penny that weighs 2.28. What is my best course of action? Get it graded? Post it on ebay? Report this Post to the Staff

JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21597 Posts	Posted 09/18/2025 07:18 am With the +- tolerance, it could weigh up to 3.24g so you only .04g over, probably from a slightly thick planchet. Certainly not enough to try to sell. Report this Post to the Staff
