The listing clearly identified the coin as a 1954-S/S.
I have checked listings for a few months, trying to cherrypick one. Most ebay images don't have the resolution or focus to make the determination. I had considered buying a slabbed specimen, but for whatever reason, people take lousy photos of coins in slabs, so you can't be certain a nickel is free from corrosion or other blemishes. This one was an acceptable compromise that I am happy with.
