Good evening fellow collectors. I came across this 1964-P Jefferson nickel while searching rolls. I can see doubling on a lot of the letters (both reverse and obverse), throughout Monticello, and on Jefferson himself, specifically his eye. I've been collecting for a few years now and still have trouble distinguishing the difference between actual die doubling and Machine Doubling. Also, the area on the bottom of his jaw has some texture to it. I'm not sure what causes that. Any input is much appreciated. Thank you!

First off for me that's a whole lot of photos to comment on and keep track of, but here's what I see...2nd photo bottom image (our viewing left) side of the building looks like Die Deterioration Doubling along with 6th photo of UST ( of trust) Now with the 1st photo/bottom image also 3rd photo/bottom image of ELL in Monticollo...that's Machine Doubling.....I'll let other comment on what they see.

It's a combination of Die Deterioration Doubling and Machine Doubling.
