while I was playing with my new scope I found alot of die cracks on this 1921 P Morgan dollar. I think it may be a VAM-1BJ. I took lots of pictures. please let me know what you think. Thanks for looking.

The first thing you need to do when searching the 21P's is figure out which reverse you have and this will help narrow down your search. The best I can tell from your full coin pic, yours is a D2 reverse, the 16 berry. Pics below to help with this. That being said, the 1BJ is now listed as the 114A and is a D1 reverse. Also, your cracks are not even close to being the same. Here is a link to the 114A, formerly 1BJ and also a link to the complete list of 1921P VAMs.

@Makecents has provided very good info for you. In addition, the 1921 Morgans have been extensively catalogued by die breaks/cracks. You can go to the following page and see if it can be narrowed down that way:

thanks guys for the help. I think I have found one of the VAMs that match my coin, 81A. all of the marks I see on my coin are on this VAM. there are some other things on the VAM I haven't seen on mine. most likely its just because I don't know what I'm looking for exactly (i know this to be true). or could it also be that other things developed after my coin was struck but before the VAM was documented?

Nice job! You sure picked a tough date/mm to cut your teeth on.

So, the best I can tell, the 81A was broken down into four more VAM numbers, for the different die stages. I can see the die scratch in the D of DOLLAR but no die break yet below the D in the next and final stage. To me, yours would appear to be VAM-3BQ3. Unless there are extremely obvious markers, I don't even dive into the 21's very often.

Once again, nice job on attribution.
