The obverse looks AU 58, but the reverse maybe XF 45 with the exception of the steps still being visible. A tough one overall to grade. Report this Post to the Staff
copper nickel daddy Pillar of the Community United States 2224 Posts	Posted 06/06/2009 5:56 pm Obverse looks MS to me, maybe MS63. The reverse almost looks to be a different coin, maybe EF45. I believe this year usually strikes up really nice, so can't explain the reverse. Report this Post to the Staff

I can assure you that there is no wear on either the obverse or reverse. It is fully lustrous, but I failed to capture it adequately in the photo. Any weakness in the reverse is strike or die state related. Report this Post to the Staff
