They rarely use MS-60 anymore so I'll go MS-61 also.

UNC details (cleaned) Odee, two comments on this one. one, I'm not seeing any circulation signs. two take a close look at the hairlines across area I noted. this is not from banging around with other coins in a bag. the coin was wiped with something that left those.

yes do those line cross over one the check aswell looks like lines? No wear on hair over ear thou so those lines concern me. If it straight grades I'm at 62-63

Thanks guys, I agree. I find this coin a little strange to have those wipe marks when the coin itself seems to be uncirculated. Strange, but weirder things have happened I suppose. I do like the coin, I cringe a little when I see the cheek scratches. I don't remember when or were I got this coin but it's a good filler in completing my 1878 Morgan's from applicable mints.

Quote: They rarely use MS-60 anymore Well, unless you buy from Littleton - but I digress. Years ago it was accepted to clean old silver coins - so who knows when this was cleaned? If at all. I just see a chewed up 62.
