Could be a rim Cud, but seeing the underlying zinc core in that split area makes me think this might be a plating issue instead (or in addition).

Putting valuations on these sorts of minor errors is tough and I'm interested to see what others day. I personally would have a hard time thinking that it is worth much over face value.
