Hey folks,

I have been going through my stash and have found some cool coins. I am still learning about the varieties. Is this one considered a Double Die? Thanks for your thoughts and info in advance!

That's Split Plating, not a Doubled Die. The copper plating got stretched too thin, exposing the zinc core underneath. https://www.error-ref.com/split-plating/

Yes, a split plating issue which exposed the zinc core, which can lead to zinc rot.

to CCF.

Split plating along with Die Deterioration Doubling.

But please, do not post up screen shots of your scope. they show too much pixelation to be of and use.
