Hi Everyone!
One of today's finds:
1985 LMC with Strike Thru. The strike thru actually extends further, but, was difficult to capture with the zinc blistering.
Thoughts? Thank You

p.s. The top of "I" doesn't really have that forked top - just looks like that in picture.

Looks more like a soft hit to me.

Thank You. I didn't see any pushed metal - that's why I was thinking perhaps S.T. - but with your thoughts: perhaps there is some metal pushed slightly on the north side of channel

I'm leaning toward a subtle strike through.

I could be wrong, snailking. I'm no expert by any means. Now that I looked at it again, it could be a Struck Through error.

It could be a struck through but am leaning towards damage to the coin as well. There is damage to the opposing side of the obverse, and you can tell the coin has been through it. It only costs one cent to keep plus the cost of a 2x2 to label "possible struck through". What I have found out the hard way, if I keep every similar coin to what you have here, you have a lot of "possibles" that are not even in good condition. Over time, I have learned to toss "possibles", because I have too many already. In my opinion this is just a learning experience, and in time, you will know what to and not to cull.

Thank You
Interesting things to contemplate!
The damage on the opposing side is definitely PMD - there is a flat spot on the rim where it was struck.

Yes! I have already begun that process!! I've gotten rid of some, not "bothered" keeping others, and of course - have a bunch to compare as I learn more.

Thank You, also E&V and ijn1944

I'll probably keep this one for now as a "possible", to look at again at a later time.
