Pictures are pretty rough, but it could be Die Deterioration Doubling or Machine Doubling.

You can't have Doubling on the mint mark as it was hand punched into the die.
The best you could have is RPM but hard to tell from that image.
Look up RPM's for a 1972S and see if you have a match.
