after looking at clamshell separation and clamshell splits I think this is a clamshell lamination flap this is new to me and maybe I will learn a little more today with your help thanks for your time

Are you sure that it isn't a stain? Looks like stains to me. You could try soaking in pure acetone to see if it comes off.

I'm with -makecents- as it does not look like a stain to me. Folded Rim Fin or lam, possibly. But an acetone soak would certainly help.
