Apparently the late die stage of the Overton-107a is R7 so quite rare. The plate coin on the maibock site is in a much lower VG grade. Thoughts? Thanks!

XF40 maybe XF45 depending on how much a TPG would knock her for strike.

Thank you for your comments. I agree and also thought the strike on this coin was great given the extent of the failure of the obverse die. I also really like the surfaces of the coin.

Strong stars, eagle feathers. Strong XF-45, not sure if the surfaces are original from these pictures.

I would say XF45 as well. Nice 1/2. How many examples do they estimate?
