I just found a 2017P Dime with several die chips on the reverse. I think one looks like a dragon fly with wings outstretched. When I zoom in real close I can even see antennae from its head. Also, there is a second die chip as marked, and I think there may be doubling along the flame. What do you think?

Very cool find on the dragonfly die chip, you can see it very well. As for the doubling, I fear it is just Machine Doubling, but the dimes are tough for me to discern from an actual doubled die sometimes.

This is the first time I ever heard of a Lincoln Cent with a 'Dragonfly' with 'antennae on its head.. You don't get it because maybe you have seen chips that look like dragonflies on other coins, but I haven't.

Coinforme...it's called imagination....and I think it's a great thing to have... Dragonfly on the torch and another bug on the olive branch. A1agrl...it's a shame the dime is one of the US's smallest coin, would show better on a quarter sized coin. Still a sender to me.

Actually it's, Pareidolia Pareidolia = Happens when your brain tries to find patterns in random things. . . . Example: seeing a face in a cloud, a figure in wood grain, or a man on the moon. Imagination = Happens entirely in your mind. . . . You create images, stories, or ideas that aren't actually in front of you. EDIT to install: This " "
