I need a 1912D cent for my album and as I never found one CRH I was considering buying this coin https://www.ebay.com/itm/357889960422
Can any of you tell me what is on the reverse specifically the rim? also do you think this coin has been cleaned? Thanks.

Ends in 15 minutes - no time to ask the seller. I have no idea what that is. I'd stay away from a problem coin but that's just me.

EDIT: Unless Uncirculated I would always go with a clean surface chocolate brown example instead of a probable cleaned "Pinkish" coin.

Thanks Marve65!, I will take your advice. Just didn't know what was going on with the reverse rim.

Not rim Cuds on the revere - they look like letters (maybe) - but from a vise job maybe - a coin I would not buy.
