It is either a misaligned die or an off centre strike
but as you only show one side, can't say which.
This is why you should always show both sides
of the coin when posting.
Also please crop your photos as per posting instructions.

After seeing the reverse, I would say you have a slight off centre strike.
Within spec and not off enough to warrant a premium.

@csp7816 - - Slight misalignment, and "worn down" by circulation causes.

If you flip the coin the thicker rim is on different sides so could it be a slight off-center strike? Or am I seeing this wrong?
Remember it's "Coin alignment" not "Medallic alignment"

Marv
Turn the reverse upside down so it is coin alignment and the thicker rim lines up on the same side.
Your photos are showing medal alignment like we use in Canada.

JimmyD, Marv is showing an end over end flip unless the coin is also rotated 180 degrees.

I see what you mean, if that is the case then it would have a slight misalignment on both sides.
Doesn't matter much which it is though, it is still within spec and adds no premium.

To CCF! I agree with above. Pretty much a normal Wheat cent.
