here is another find from my own stored coins from "who knows when". this time I believe I have a 1960 large date, 1MM-088. this is the closest I can determine from coppercoins - advanced search. I am mostly judging from the split serif, on the bottom of the mint mark. any help in confirming will be appreciated. if confirmed this is my fourth RPM in two weeks. one a 1960 LD - 1MM-007, one 1944D 1MM-002, one 1955D 1MM-009, and this coin. something of a renewed interest, in searching. it was getting dull, searching - but not finding anything.
after looking at the images, I'm not really sure it is a better image. I actually have this coin and one other that I would like to get opinions on, but this is the best I can do - for the time being. thanks
Great image coop ! I wish I could see them like that while searching rolls. With my eyes, I can spot the big errors ok, but probably need an electron microscope to see some of the subtle DDs.
Sorry, the images are still not good enough to tell whether this is just damage or if there is actually something of interest on the coin. It looks like damage, but it's just too hard to tell and be certain.
