Is that your pictures or the sellers pictures? The pictures look "juiced" to make the toning more than it is.

Yikes - that Morgan is in great condition (65) but that toning kills it to a details coin as that sure does not look natural,

Yeah, that's the reason I grabbed it because it looked like it was in great condition. I've never saw the reverse pattern before and just assumed I haven't come across it yet.

Color looks questionable to me too.

Pretty toning, but I doubt it would straight grade. I'm also at Unc details, artificial toning.

You could try to get rid of the toning with the boiling water and baking soda trick if you want but that isn't always successful.

But then you'd have a shiny cleaned coin that still wouldn't straight grade. I'd rather have the colorful toning--at least it's got some character!

Never told him to do it - just a suggestion if you didn't like the toning. And nobody knows if it would be shiny nor would it actually be cleaned! I've seen great results.........then I've seen bad results because the toning was there to hide blemishes on the coin.
