Good evening! Not a strong Die Clash, and, I don't see any clash on the obverse. But it's been a while since I've come across a Buffalo nickel while CRH, so, I figured I'd share a fun find.
I have also noticed this on late 1930s Buffalo nickels. There are often die clash remnants behind EPU, but nothing on the obverse. I think the Mint became much more careful about swapping dies or removing clashes below the jaw. Possibly, those are easier to remove than the reverse clashes because the obverse clashes are in the field, but the reverse clashes are through the tiny letters.
