1884 $1 Morgan Dollar #4 - TPG 12 Of 40

$67. #11 of 40 acquired recently. Recently I purchased 40 slabbed Morgan dollars (36 ANACS, 3 PCGS and 1 ICG) and will post one a day alongside one Peace dollar. I paid an average of $67 for the 40 coins. This time I will post the grade of the coin 2 days after and this time we can compare our grades with those of TPGs. Thoughts? Thanks!

It just makes MS-63. Nice luster and the reverse looks very nice.

One thing that caught my eye was the die chip on top of the second "T" in STATES. I don't recall seeing that on any 1884 VAMs, but my recollection isn't a substitute for a search. The clash marks and reverse die cracks look familiar, though. I wonder if you might have a later die progression of an existing VAM, and if it may enough for a new sub-listing.

I think this is a 63. ANACS differs but not by a lot.
