$67. #16 of 40 acquired recently. Recently I purchased 40 slabbed Morgan dollars (36 ANACS, 3 PCGS and 1 ICG) and will post one a day alongside one Peace dollar. I paid an average of $67 for the 40 coins. This time I will post the grade of the coin 2 days after and this time we can compare our grades with those of TPGs. Thoughts? Thanks!

AU 58 not sure if nicks on obverse would keep it from MS grade.

I'll say AU-58 or MS-63. Not sure if that's slight circulation wear on the Eagle's breast or just weakly struck.

the 90(P) are known for softer strikes so what we are seeing is more strike related on the breast and around the ear.

This one looks undergraded by ANACS to me. The cheek and fields are very clean. Looks like a nicer 63 or even 64.

they may have downgraded it for the stain and the hits across the cheek, jaw and breast but I agree it could have been in a 63 holder

I'm late to the party on this one, but I agree with ANACS, it's MS-62.

I keep repeating the mantra "depth, location, number." The hits on the cheek and chin are deep, and there are deeper hits in the hair, as well. The hit on the top of the eagle's breast is deep. The field scruff is consistent with MS-63, but those deeper hits are on the devices, and pull the coin down.
