John1 Moderator United States 56855 Posts	Posted 06/14/2009 07:06 am Finally got my nephew to take a photo of this LMC and wanted to know what the mark is at the top of bay five is ,it's on an angle and there is also a mark that runs horizontal in bay's 4, 5, and 6?. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 06/14/2009 10:01 am More like a gouge. It is fairly straight. That would happen on a gouge. A die chip would be irregular in shape. This seems to symmetrical to be a chip. Report this Post to the Staff

It could be a die gouge - somewhat likely. It could also be a mark left behind by a die clash. A somewhat less likely possibility. Report this Post to the Staff
