This 1960-D Lincoln Cent seems to have an interior die break on the reverse, specifically at the bottom of the letter "N" in "cent." Also, the number "9" in the date shows some type of "doubling" at the tip of its upper loop. Could this be Machine Doubling? What are your thoughts?

I see a Die Chip on the reverse. I believe the doubling on the 9 is part of the normal design. Although, I could be wrong on that.

No Die Break - just a die chip. The 9? I have no idea.

Nice die chip! As E&V stated, the odd nub on the 9 is part of the design.

You are welcome. The 60's dies were an absolute mess and the small date 60 was the worst. Here are a couple more links if you are interested.
