-makecents- Pillar of the Community United States 8726 Posts	Posted 01/24/2026 12:33 am I'm with E&V on this, plus you have picked another anomaly in the Coin World, different but similar to the messed up 60's dies. This particular mint mark punch was brought back from past times. It was used in the 40's and brought back to life in 74 for some reason. Much of what you will see on the mint mark is just a used up, damaged punch. A little reading for you.
