What would you grade this one. Just purchased another three from the same seller before he raised prices. These are sellers photos. Cost 94.50 pp. Melt on these today is almost 91.00.

For an 1889, this is a very nice coin. The strike is average, maybe a little better than average. The die state is average. The surfaces are much less baggy than most.
There is just a bit too much noise on the obverse for me to get to MS-64. I see the obverse as MS-63, reverse as MS-64, net MS-63. A plus designation on the 63 is certainly possible here. Nice 1889!

the 89(P) can be soft. this one is AVG+ for strike. reverse solid MS65 overall I think it would come in at MS64+. it might push 65 on a good day
