$67. #34 of 40 acquired recently. Recently I purchased 40 slabbed Morgan dollars (36 ANACS, 3 PCGS and 1 ICG) and will post one a day alongside one Peace dollar. I paid an average of $67 for the 40 coins. This time I will post the grade of the coin 2 days after and this time we can compare our grades with those of TPGs. Thoughts? Thanks! I'll say a nice MS-64. Nice coin!

Nice 1896! The fields are especially nice on this one. It's the typical gun metal gray, but eye-pleasing.
I'm at MS-63+ here, nice for the grade. There is just a bit too much on the cheek and in the nicks on the cap for MS-64. The reverse scratch near the rim above the "M" of AMERICA is out of the way, but still noticeable. Nice one!

I'm circling back to grading posts I've commented on, and revisiting my thoughts, especially where I'm an outlier. Re-looking here, I'm a little low and I'll bump my grade to MS-64.
