Poll Question
Just curious if you all like the cloudflare setup or the old attack the mint website like an angry mob on Friday after Thanksgiving?
Figured today was a good day to ask.

I voted for it. Cloudfare seems to be a frequent ocurrance on many sites these days. However, they had a glitch which shut down websites about a month back that gives me pause.

It has certainly helped keep CCF from being bombarded on the regular.

It actually worked for me today. I was around for the 2019-S and got lucky that day as well. Basically just refreshed until it worked. I missed out on the v75 gold coin. Tried hard for that one but my budget was probably glad I missed it.
I am sure there is good and bad for both. As long as the mint can make it equal I'm not bothered by cloudflare. Is it fair though? I would never know.

Quote: I missed out on the v75 gold coin oh please don't remind us of that one - I had in in my bag and couldn't complete the sale due to the sites crashes.. Boy was I mad that day..

US Mint....all was in order for me, from what I've read many users refreshed the mints page...when it stated " Do not refresh or leave this page"
I've had more problems with cloudflare just trying to get onto here (CCF)

I think it is working great.
I asked a moderator to move this thread somewhere other than the US commemorative coin forum, maybe CCF support.

I think it most likely belongs here as that's what the US mint sells.
Cloudflare works well here. Keeps hundreds of thousands of bots, scrapers, and AI crap off the site on a daily basis.

It's better than crashing the site, but it could be better. The waiting page should tell you the quantities available for the new products (or at least if they are already sold out) so that you could bail out if there is no chance of getting what you want.

While its presence Here may be acceptable,or Great, They have Much to do, as far as managing the U S Mint's site.
