As I said in other posts, I'm in the process of assessing a neighbor's collection that he inherited from his father. All coins are raw as this was assembled back in the 1960s or so. My photo set up isn't great, especially for shiny, uncirculated coins so these are the best that I can do.

I'm interested in opinions from the hive here as to grade as well as any potential issues which might result in a details designation should he send them in for slabbing. Thx!

Mid AU or low MS, I'm leaning towards MS but its hard to tell if there is wear. Very nice coin.

AU55 details (cleaned)

i am just thinking about this entire portfolio. I think someone either stored all of these improperly or cleaned them in the past. just looking at the areas on the obv around the rim with the embedded grunge between the letters and denticles and the spotting to the right STATES

not enough value to slab this one

I'm at low end MS on this one. I'd consider submitting it--of course, not on my dime...
