If you would like the forum to guess the grade refrain from posting what it actually graded for 48 hours.
You realize when you know how to think, it empowers you far beyond those who know only what to think.

It looks like the example has original skin. I agree with PCGS at VF25.

May be a "technical" VF 25 graded coin, but it sure does not have eye appeal to these old man's eyes of mine. I would pass if it was offered to me at anywhere near F/VF money. Others may find it appealing.

True. Unappealing black toning, reverse looks to have some pitting, and that green spot is worrisome.

Probably enough there to call it a 30, but the eye appeal keeps it at a 25 for me. I do think it is original skin though.

Grade seems right, eye appeal is a little off with the dark uneven tone.

The pictures are not good enough to rate this coin, but it does look unpleasant, as many coins from this era do.
On the reverse, the gouge on the back of the neck on the Eagle should make this coin's label read: "VF Damage." (IMO)

I wonder about the storage of this coin since it was graded. I can see VF-25 here, but the surface conditions are concerning.

In addition to the green spot on the eagle's left leg (our visual right), there are other corrosion spots beginning on the obverse to the right of the second star and on the reverse to the left of the eagle's right wing (our visual left) on a line toward just below the "U" of UNITED. The dark coloration is uneven and that makes be wonder about storage humidity.

Does the label on the holder have water stains or look faded or discolored? If so, there's a chance that this could be a hurricane Katrina (2005) or Harvey (2017) coin. Is the holder from one of those eras? Many collections were submerged in flooding from those hurricanes, and coins in damaged but dried holders still appear now and then. Reholdered or resubmitted silver or bronze coins from those storms almost uniformly detail.

Just some thoughts.
